STUDY OF THE EFFECT OF METAKAOLIN ON THE PROPERTIES OF α-SEMIHYDRATE GYPSUMSummary
In the construction materials industry, modification of the composition of adhesive materials is currently widely used to improve their properties. For this purpose, both chemical additives and dispersed mineral additives are used. The use of such additives at various stages of the technological process regulates the properties of adhesive materials and ensures the production of high-quality materials that meet the requirements of standards. In this article, the effect of metakaolin on the properties of α-semihydrate gypsum was studied. When modifying gypsum adhesives with the addition of ultradisperse metakaolin, the strength of the stone materials obtained has also significantly increased, as has their water resistance.
